For a wonderful cause, Home Horizons was able to raise close to $19,000 from auctioning off the Artists one-of-a-kind, hand-painted ceramic bowls. I was so happy to participate so I decided to paint my favourite landscapes in a monochromatic colour scheme.

ArtWalk 2023

A lovely day for a Plein Air painting contest!

UPDATE: I was winner of the acrylic/oil painting division :D :D

The weather was beautiful, sunny and hot (that part not so great for my oils) The view I secured was something I had wanted to paint since I moved to Owen Sound. So with full inspiration and a very colourful palette I went at the canvas.

I haven’t painting “Plein air” since I was in College so this was very new to me. But successfully, within a couple hours, I was able to capture this beautiful and historic landmark. With experience painting the Collingwood Terminals, I was very inspired by the currently-active grain elevators. I look forward to starting another one from a different perspective and more industrial buildings included. Stay Tuned :)

Im very happy to have been chosen to join southampton arts centre as one of their new gallery artists. my work will be on display and for sale at this new location for the next year.

Ancient Aliens

Exhibit

Jan 2- Feb 28 2023

The Press Room Gallery
Collingwood, ON

The Ancient Aliens Exhibit was created while exploring historical documentaries. From war films to the Ancient Apocalypse series to exploring aliens and past-life regression; all were not only interesting but educational in helping me understand the languages and signs being used past and present. Some of my paintings were inspired by and now are named after some of the oldest buildings and “places” of the world dating back to 10,000 bc. The architecture is very intriguing and ultimately has stimulated my abstract creativity to a new level.

The Collingwood Art Crawl 2022

A fun and social way to meet local Artists of Georgian Bay! Collingwood hosts their annual Art Crawl in September and I was happy to attend. In an around the downtown core, artists & musicians show off their artwork & process in amongst the shops and venues. A self-guided tour down the Main St. and off the side streets, you will find incredible talent! I will be stationed at The Collingwood Museum this year. Please come by and say hello :)
